Payton Pritchard seen getting buckets in offseason run despite apparent broken nose

Boston Celtics reserve guard Payton Pritchard started the ’21-22 NBA season in a protective mask thanks to a broken nose suffered in October of last year. And once again it appears the sharpshooting Pritchard is getting buckets behind a mask.

In a recent social media post, the former Oregon Duck was spotted working out with the Olin Simplis’ Big Guard University in Los Angeles. Prtichard is moving fast and scoring well in the post. And is also quite clearly wearing a mask. On an Instagram post, Prtichard’s Celtics teammate Marcus Smart jokingly commented, “back to the mask I see.” to which Pritchard simply responded, “I broke it again lol.”

Straight from the proverbial horse’s mouth, as it were. The broken nose appears to be a mild setback, if anything, for Pritchard’s offseason preparations.
