Payton Pritchard rocks Oregon Ducks shoes in Boston Celtics game vs. Wizards originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest

Payton Pritchard may be turning heads in the NBA, but he still remembers where he came from.

The West Linn, OR native, who was selected 26th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft, has already made an impact on the Boston Celtics squad.

He's even hitting game winners!

Through 10 games, Pritchard is averaging 8.6 points, 3.1 assists and 2.4 rebounds.

Despite all the success, Pritchard is still an Oregon boy.

In Friday night's game vs. the Wizards, Pritchard rocked his Oregon Ducks kicks.

It's kind of nice having relatively the same color scheme with your pro team as your college team!

"Just a kid from West Linn," his Twitter bio reads, but while he's across the country in Boston, Payton made it clear:

Once a Duck, always a Duck.
