Pritchard leaves Friday's C's-Sixers game with knee injury originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

Payton Pritchard's night vs. the Philadelphia 76ers ended early Friday as the Boston Celtics rookie exited the game with a right knee injury.

Pritchard went down holding his knee after colliding with teammate Jaylen Brown in the first quarter. The 22-year-old had to be helped off the court by trainers.

The severity of the injury is not yet known, but Pritchard was ruled out for the remainder of the game with what the Celtics are calling a right knee sprain. He'll presumably have to undergo more tests in the coming days to determine the extent of the injury.
