Paulina Porizkova Keeps It Real While Flaunting Abs In A Bikini IG Video
Paulina Porizkova just posted a bikini video on Instagram showing everyone how strong her abs and legs are these days.
The supermodel, who is turning 58 soon, talked about her arthritis and the ways she tries to keep her body moving as she gets older.
Paulina keeps it real for her followers, and often takes them along for the journey as she discusses the struggles of menopause, aging, and more.
Supermodel Paulina Porizkova is all about keeping it real with her followers, and her latest Instagram bikini post is no exception.
In the video, the 57-year-old can be seen strolling through the ocean looking jaw-droppingly strong. Seriously, Paulina’s six-pack abs and toned arms and legs are obvious, even from a distance. But, of course, Paulina let people know that things aren’t always what they seem.
“I was trying to walk out of the water all swinging hips and sexy, but was undercut by the currents, waves and dips in the sand. Oh, and my hip arthritis 😂,” she wrote in the caption. “I will be turning 58 soon, and couldn’t appreciate my body more.” Paulina shared that she lifts weights and has to do physical therapy. She also revealed that she’s been on a 16/8 intermittent fasting eating plan “for a few years.”
“Staying in shape takes much more time and effort, but it allows me to fully inhabit this shell I was given at birth, something I took for granted most of my life,” Paulina continued. “But not anymore. Now it’s a deliberate decision to allow it to work as best as it can, being grateful for its ability to move me through the world to keep harvesting the beauty of it all. Pain included. ❤️.”

Paulina has shared little snippets of her fitness routine over the past few years, and she’s made it clear that she works hard to be so strong.
In September, Paulina revealed on Instagram that staying in shape after menopause “takes a lot of frickin’ work,” noting that she had to cut back on how much Pilates she does because her “hips won’t cooperate.” So, she said, she’s been doing “serious PT” which involves physical therapy on her hip, along with strength training.
“One has to work a lot harder on things that were taken for granted,” she said. Paulina wrote this alongside a video of herself doing overhead arm presses that show her jacked biceps and shoulders.
It’s unclear if Paulina is getting back into Pilates, but she’s shown off some impressive training moves on Instagram in the past. In 2021, Paulina posted a video montage of herself working through a series of Pilates workouts on the reformer machine, doing inverted leg cycles, side plank crunches with her legs hanging from the ceiling, and more.
On the food front, Paulina shared in 2020 that she tries to avoid processed foods, adding that she does “love my cakes.” She also shared that she drinks wine and cocktails.
The supermodel got into more details about her diet in a 2021 Instagram video, sharing that she follows a 16:8 intermittent fasting schedule but isn’t overly strict about what she puts in her mouth.
“I generally take it as I eat whatever I want for eight hours because I like food, but I also kind of tend to like more healthy food,” she said. Still, Paulina added, “if I need a fried chicken, then I’ll eat a fried chicken. It’s just the way it is.”
