FOXBORO, Mass. -- The New England Patriots host the New York Jets on Sunday at Gillette Stadium, where the defending Super Bowl champs will aim to extend their win streak against the struggling AFC East club to seven games.

The Patriots will be getting some reinforcements in Week 3.

Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon is active for the Patriots, which is an encouraging sign. He suffered a shoulder injury in Week 1 and missed Week 2 because of it. Running back Damien Harris and defensive back Joejuan Williams both are active for the first time as rookies. Rookie wide receiver Jakobi Meyers also is back in the lineup after not playing in Week 2.

Running back James White will miss the game to be with his wife. They are expecting the birth of their first child. Fullback James Develin was ruled out Friday with a neck injury. Ryan Izzo is the lone tight end active for the Patriots with Matt LaCosse inactive.

Here are the inactives for both teams.
