The 2020 NFL season is nearly here, and Julian Edelman is ready to go.
It's safe to say he's fired up for the new campaign.
Edelman is one of many players on the Patriots roster with plenty of motivation entering the 2020 season. Despite posting the third 1,000-yard season of his career in 2019, injuries limited the 34-year-old wideout's effectiveness late in the regular season and in the playoffs.
The upcoming season also is the first in Edelman's career without Tom Brady as the Patriots' starting quarterback, and you can bet he's eager to show new starter Cam Newton that he's still one of the most dependable wide receivers in the league.
The Patriots will begin the 2020 season at home against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon.
