Patriots’ Injury Report: James White surprise inactive vs. Seahawks

The New England Patriots are heading into their Week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks with a fairly healthy lineup.

James White was a surprise inactive, but it’s due to the sudden and horrific passing of his father. White’s father died in a car accident and his mother was left in critical condition, according to Fox Sports’ Andy Slater.

Josh Uche will miss his second consecutive week with an ankle injury, leaving the Patriots slim at linebacker. Uche was the Patriots’ first linebacker selected in the draft and he’s expected to play a huge role when on the field.

Julian Edelman and N’Keal Harry were questionable heading into the game, but they’ll be on the field against Seattle.
