Like the Milwaukee Bucks, Pat Connaughton began the last week of October well before somewhat falling off. The high mark came in an Oct. 25 road win against the Indiana Pacers. Connaughton scored 13 points, include three 3-pointers, and had his second straight seven-rebound game. The game brought the Bucks’ record to 3-1.
The Bucks then lost three consecutive home games to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 27, the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 30 and the Utah Jazz on Oct. 31. Connaughton shot only 2 of 11 in that first game with all but two of those shots coming from 3-point range. He had his second consecutive six-point game against the Spurs but also grabbed 10 rebounds. He evened out against the Jazz with five points and five rebounds.
For the week, Connaughton averaged 7.5 points and 6.0 rebounds a game while shooting 33.3 percent from the field. That scoring average was a little inflated with that fine first game and scoring less than that in the next three games. Most of the shooting came from beyond the arc, and he shot 6 of 23 from there. He also started two of the four games.
