Partick Thistle must not dwell on SWPL Cup final defeat - Graham

Partick Thistle boss Brian Graham says his side "can't dwell" on last weekend's SWPL Cup final defeat as they prepare to face Hearts on Sunday.

Thistle were beaten 4-1 against Rangers last weekend but insisted full focus has to be on the league.

"We have got nine games left and nine very difficult games so it is another where we can potentially get within a point of Hearts if we win against them so that is our aim," Graham told club media.

"We have spoken about trying to break one of the Edinburgh sides, we knew from the start of the season that was going to be very difficult but we are quite close to them in league position and in points so we need to make sure we get all three on Sunday.

"The high of getting to the cup final, it was a fantastic experience for the players but they have got to want more, they have got to want success and to win the cup.

"First and foremost we are disappointed that we didn't win the trophy, you can't get away from that. But we've shown that when we are composed in the final third we can score goals and we scored a wonderful goal on Sunday against one of the best teams in the country. "
