Paris & Nicky Hilton Twin in Leather Leggings & Booties for a New York Minute

Sisters Nicky and Paris Hilton know a thing or two about chic off-duty style.
The duo stepped out and about in New York yesterday and showed off their unique style tastes as temperatures start to drop in the Big Apple. While Nicky opted for a fuzzy teddy coat and a turtleneck sweater with a $6 face mask, Paris decided on a Hello Kitt hoodie and a red Valentino purse. Both siblings, though, twinned in their choices of sleek black leather leggings for the outing.
When it came down to footwear, both Hiltons opted for leather boots as well. Nicky’s pair came in the form of a lug-sole combat boot and Paris’ choice was a wedge-heel slouchy bootie.
As for Paris, the media personality’s latest look mirrors her everyday style. Often, she can be found in bright numbers and colorful combinations, favoring the bold — her go-to brands include Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Sergio Rossi. The entrepreneur also extended her reach by opening over 40 retail stores and running her own DJ business, as well as a slew of namesake fragrances.
As for her sister Nicky, the hotel heiress knows a thing or two about footwear since she released a capsule collection with comfort brand French Sole New York last February. In April of this year, FN sat down with the style connoisseur to chat all things at-home style in the midst of her quarantine. As she adjusted to a more settled lifestyle, the fashion influencer explained the difficulties we all are facing with adopting a new normal.
“My life has definitely changed,” she told FN during an Instagram Live interview. “I had to leave my home and we are isolating in Long Island [New York]. It’s weird and it’s different. [But], most people can agree that the silver lining is that ones who are lucky enough can spend time with their family. I feel so connected to my friends and family more than ever.”
Her French Sole collection last year was her first foray into designing footwear but she has been sporting styles from the brand since high school. While Hilton was first dipping her toes into shoes, she has previously designed apparel, handbags and jewelry. “This was the missing link,” she told FN when the shoes launched. “It was a fun experience that was completely new and different compared to clothing. If I want to put a bow on a shoe, I can [choose] from thousands. The options are endless.”
