On Tuesday, Bayless criticized Morant for quoting the lyric "It's a parade inside my city, yeah," from NBA Youngboy's "Fresh Prince of Utah" during a postgame interview of teammate Santi Aldama on Monday night. Bayless was critical because the song talks about guns and it came after Morant's incident where he brandished a gun during an Instagram Live video in a Denver Nuggets.
In the final minute of Wednesday's win over the Houston Rockets, the arena replayed Bayless saying the line on his television show, "Undisputed". The humorous touch reminded of how the Grizzlies trolled Bayless' co-host, Shannon Shape, on social media after the team defeated the Lakers on Feb. 28.

JACKSON DOMINATES IN MORANT'S RETURN:Jaren Jackson Jr. scores 37 points in Ja Morant's return, Memphis Grizzlies defeat Rockets
Morant's use of the lyric Monday was not a first. It's something he and the team have done all season as one of their postgame mantras.
Grizzlies play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica said it to close out Wednesday's win. Morant said during his postgame interview on Bally Sports Southeast. This time, he got his young daughter, Kaari, to repeat it after him.
It was a fitting end for Morant's return, which saw him score 17 points and five assists in 24 minutes.
