The Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons will be squaring off in an old fashioned “loser leaves town” match. Actually, it’s more of a “loser gets left in last place” match.

At 3-4 and 3-3, respectively, the Panthers and Falcons will look to battle away from the NFC South basement. So here’s how to watch and what to watch for as both teams try to wiggle away from the bottom of the division.

Week 8

When to watch

Sunday, Oct. 31, 1:00 p.m. ET

How to watch on TV

The game will be broadcast on the FOX network within the regional broadcast area.

How to stream

You can stream the game on FuboTV.

How to listen

WBT 1110 AM is the team’s local radio station.

History

Even though the Falcons have been largely awful over the past few years, they absolutely own the Panthers of late. Atlanta has won nine of the past 12 meetings with Carolina.

They have a stranglehold on the all-time series as well with a 33-19 edge.

What to watch for

For Carolina to creep out of the cellar, they’ll absolutely need some sort of stable performance on the road from quarterback Sam Darnold. Darnold, just in time for Halloween, has been frighteningly bad—having completed 52.4 percent of his passes for 496 yards, two touchdowns and five picks over the last three games.

Conversely, Atlanta would love to see yet another stellar outing from its quarterback in Matt Ryan. The 36-year-old has thrown for 678 yards and four touchdowns to just one interception over their two-game win streak. Rookie tight end Kyle Pitts has been on the end of 282 of those yards and one of those scores.
