Panthers reportedly attempting to sign both Adam Thielen and DJ Chark

Why try to sign Adam Thielen or DJ Chark when you can try to sign Adam Thielen and DJ Chark?

Well, that may be the line of thinking for the Carolina Panthers.

Over on the latest edition of SportsCenter, in a segment featuring ESPN NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler, it was noted that the Panthers are attempting to land both Thielen and Chark.

Carolina has hosted the veteran wideouts on respective visits this past week. Thielen came in for a talk on Wednesday with Chark getting his on Friday.

The 32-year-old Thielen was recently released by the Minnesota Vikings following a nine-season run. Between 2014 and 2022, he appeared in 135 games—amassing 534 catches, 6,682 receiving yards, 56 total touchdowns and a pair of Pro Bowl nods.

A Pro Bowler in his own right, Chark is coming off an injury-shortened campaign with the Detroit Lions—one in which he recorded 502 receiving yards and three scores over 11 outings. He’s played in just 15 games between the last two seasons.
