When it comes to the NFL draft there are three Oklahoma Sooners mentioned more than any others. It begins and ends with quarterback Spencer Rattler, more often than not he is viewed as the No. 1 overall prospect.

While many are arguing about Spencer Rattler vs Sam Howell vs Malik Willis, there are a couple of other Sooners getting some NFL draft love. Nik Bonitto is viewed as one of the most underrated defenders according to Pro Football Focus. The latest mocks have him slated in the second round of the draft. Bonitto led the team in sacks, pressures, and hurries in 2020. He will be expected to do so again along with Isaiah Thomas that finished second in those same categories.

The other first-round caliber player outside of Rattler will be nose tackle, Perrion Winfrey. He would finish fourth on the team with 27 total pressures and third in quarterback hurries with 25. The latest mock drafts slot him in the latter part of the first round. Winfrey will be a major player to watch. However, Draft Wire is circling a couple of other Sooners to keep an eye on from a draft perspective at the wide receiver position.

The first name is Jadon Haselwood, who some feel is setting up for a breakout season. During his freshman season of 2019, Haselwood appeared in 11 games. Haselwood hauled in 19 passes for 272 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 14.3 yards per catch. His 2020 campaign was a bit disappointing as Haselwood would play in three games due to a knee injury. The No. 1 receiver of the 2019 class caught only four passes for 65 yards that year. More is expected of him in 2021 and could be a breakout candidate.

Could Jadon Haselwood surprise and lead the 2021 Oklahoma Sooners in receiving?

Theo Wease is the only name to appear on Draft Wire’s list. Much like Rattler and Haselwood, Wease signed with the Sooners in their 2019 class. The five-star pass-catcher from Allen, Texas, has appeared in 17 games in two seasons. During 2020 in 11 games, Wease caught 37 passes for 530 yards and four touchdowns. With so much attention on other weapons on offense, Wease could take advantage and provide even more production.

Wease and Haselwood are two NFL draft prospects to keep an eye on.
