Pair of LSU men’s basketball commits sign National Letters of Intent

The college basketball early signing period began on Wednesday, and LSU inked National Letters of Intent from both of their current 2024 commits, Robert Miller III and Curtis Givens III.

Miller, a Pasadena, Texas, native, and Givens — who hails from powerhouse Montverde Academy in Florida — ranks as the No. 60 and 61 players in the 2024 class, respectively, per the 247Sports Composite.

Coach Matt McMahon has looked more toward the transfer portal for roster building than high school recruiting. He signed just two high school players in the 2023 class, and Miller and Givens are the only players currently pledged for 2024.

However, LSU remains in the mix for several other players as it looks to improve on a class that currently ranks 28th in the nation.

The early signing period will last for one week, closing next Wednesday. Players will have the opportunity to sign again during the regular period, which begins April 17 and ends May 15.
