There will be overnight closures on S.R. 129 and the Liberty Interchange from Wednesday through Friday, according to the Public Information Specialist with Butler County Engineer’s Office.
Butler County Engineer’s ask residents to plan nighttime routes accordingly and if possible, avoid the construction area, the spokesperson said in a news release shared with News Center 7. The construction is expected to take place from Dec. 7th through Dec. 9th, weather permitting.
Multiple westbound lane closures on S.R. 129 will begin at 8 p.m. each night as the contractor removes portable concrete barrier walls, the spokesperson said.
Overhead sign support structures will be installed westbound beginning at midnight on Thursday, requiring a 15 minute full closure, the spokesperson said.
Access to westbound S.R. 129 from the Cox Road roundabout will be closed at 10 p.m., the spokesperson said. Motorists will have to use the Cincinnati Dayton Road on-ramp to get onto the highway.
The ramps from I-75 North to S.R. 129 West, as well as S.R. 129 West to Cincinnati Dayton Road will close at 10 p.m. on Friday, the spokesperson said.
All nightly restrictions will be lifted at 6 a.m.
