Over/Under Week 12 - Allen Robinson

Will the Bears WR find the end zone vs. Green Bay on SNF?

Video Transcript

- Good Lord, in the season of thankfulness, am I thankful that Andy Behrens handles all of that so I get to do what I do best?

- [INAUDIBLE]

- And no kidding. And I get to do what I do best. The only thing I really like to do, which is talk about wide receivers that make my root charts go a flutter. And we'll be talking about Allen Robinson here, in our latest over/under. The line here is just 10.9 1/2 PPR points.

This is a mark, by the way, that he's cleared in like half of his games. So, it's a great one. The producers have done a great job. You know where I'm going, folks. I'm going over on this. And yes, do I have to hitch my wagon to the Mitchell Trubisky express? I do. I do. But actually, you know, if I could really galaxy brain this take, here.

I actually think that Trubisky and his frenetic, chaotic way of playing, the mobility that he brings, might actually be a better fit than statue man Nick Foles, back there behind a defunct offensive line. Maybe Trubisky is actually good news for this Bears offense, and therefore, Allen Robinson against a bad defense in Green Bay. Jared, am I already too drunk here on Sunday morning? Or are you riding with me?

- We're talking about the Bears and going over on them this year. Don't get me wrong. AR-15 is one of the best receivers in the league. But no matter who's behind the quarterback, they just have a tough time getting him the ball.

Of course, Von is going to be there. He's going to get a lot of targets. I just think the Packers, if they're smart, they put two people on him and try to make Trubisky beat you with his legs. I'm going under here on 10 and 1/2. I just don't think he gets there.

Well, I understand your reasoning. But if there was ever a human being on planet Earth, I wanted to ask this question. When it comes to these Bears' quarterbacks, Liz, how do you feel about this one?

I mean, girl. Welcome to the wild ride. I am grateful. In a week that we are supposed to be thankful for things and say them out loud, I am thankful for the stability that Allen Robinson provides to this week. You want me to go under six catches for 80 yards?

That is what Allen Robinson does. Matt, you alluded to it earlier. Also, in 2019, when guess who was the starting quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky. Both times Robinson faced the Packers, he went over 100 yards. So, yes. I am definitely going over on this one. And thank you, Allen Robinson, for being a reasonable, talented human being with a solid floor.
