Over/Under Week 1 - Rams' Darrell Henderson

With Cam Akers out for the season with a torn achilles, Henderson could run wild vs. Chicago.

- All right, second over under, we're looking at the Sunday night game between the Rams and Bears, Minty just discussed it. We're talking about Darrell Henderson, been getting a lot of questions about him and we've set a pretty reasonable line for total yards in this, 179 and 1/2 total yards for someone that we expect to be the Rams featured back. I will start us off here and I am going to say under. I don't think he gets there.

You can call me a Bears homer if you want to. I am kind of a Bears homer. These teams played last year. Darrell Henderson was still at the time the full workload featured guy for the Rams for whatever that's worth.

Only ended up with 76 yards in that one and then almost immediately lost his job. I guess what I want to communicate here is that I am worried about Henderson over the full season. The Rams went out and targeted Sony Michel, identified him as a player that they wanted.

They didn't just sign somebody from the scrapheap, they went and got Michel. I think Michel is going to fall into workload sooner rather than later and I am concerned about Henderson here. So again, give me the under. Matt Harmon, what say you?

MATT HARMON: Yeah Andy, I agree with about half of what you just said there. Like, I am also worried about--

- I'll take it.

MATT HARMON: --Darrell Henderson over the course of the season, but I'm not worried here in week one, which is why I'm going to go over. Because I think he is the guy right now who knows the system. Sony Michel was a late add to this team. I think they're going to run out Henderson in week one.

I feel like this committee is going to be a Henderson week, a couple Michel weeks, a couple of a Henderson weeks, like, maybe a Michel month, one of those type of situations. But either way, they're going to be doing a lot of running when they crush the Bears on Sunday Night Football, because they're running out Andy Dalton is the sacrificial lamb behind that offensive line and Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey and all those boys. Like, the Rams are going to be playing with the lead, that means more rush attempts and more yards for Henderson and maybe even Michel too.

- That was a little hurtful. Tank, break the tie.

- Where we at Minty? I'm going with the under. Now we're already talking about my man Trey Sermon and Mike Shanahan. Now, McVay is well versed in Shannon Hannigans as well, and now he has Sony Michel who is Belichick more than a few line ups with his days up in New England.

And so honestly, like, Rev gave you all the really good examples. Like, all I can say is this until, Sean McVay can commit to a running back like he can commit to a model, I'm going with the under. But now if we're talking about wingman, then my cup runneth over in the over, but that's a different conversation.

- Oh, I don't know where to take it from there. Someone, take it away. We're going to have more over unders later in

This show.
