OU softball keeps climbing up NCAA list for most Women's College World Series titles

Death, taxes and OU softball winning the NCAA title. At least that's how it's starting to feel.

The Sooners wrapped up one of the most dominating seasons in NCAA history Thursday night with a 3-1 win against Florida State, sweeping the Women's College World Series finals in two games.

Coach Patty Gasso and Co. ended the season on a 53-game winning streak to capture their third consecutive national title.

The Sooners remain in third place on the NCAA softball title list, but this seventh crown has them creeping up on Arizona (8) and UCLA (12).
