OSSAA releases Class B fall baseball regional brackets
Sep. 25—These teams will battle it out this week, with the state tournament in sight.
The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association released its regional tournament brackets for Class B teams on Monday, with two local fall baseball teams learning of their regional opponents.
Stuart and Kiowa will embark on regional tournament play this week, joining three other schools as they will all battle it out to see who will punch their ticket to the state tournament.
Stuart will host its own regional, where the fourth-ranked Hornets will battle the likes of Leedey, twelfth-ranked Roff, and fifth-ranked Caney.
Kiowa will travel to the Tupelo reigonal, where the sixth-ranked Cowboys will face eleventh-ranked Mill Creek, fourteenth-ranked Boswell, and third-ranked Tupelo.
The Class B regional tournaments are scheduled for Thursday and Friday. They are double-elimination tournaments, with one winner and one runner-up advancing to the state tournament.
The OSSAA Class B State Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 5-7. The first two rounds of the tournament will be held at Edmond Santa Fe High School, while the championship will be played at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.
