The Orioles added yet another college bat Thursday with the selection of Tulane outfielder Hudson Haskin with the 39th overall selection.
Haskin, 21, slashed a career .363/.457/.612 at Tulane in two seasons. Played just one full season at Tulane, where he hit .372 with an on-base percentage of .459 with 77 hits in 56 games, 26 walks and 29 strikeouts.
In a shortened 2020 season, he slashed .333/.452/.500 with 22 hits in 17 games with a .952 OPS. He played in 17 games at centerfield for the Green Wave in 2020, though he played in right field as well.

The 74th rated player on MLB.com's Draft Pipeline, Haskin, a draft-eligible sophomore, is the third college bat the Orioles have added in the draft behind Heston Kjerstad and Jordan Westburg of Arkansas and Mississippi State, respectively.
According to MLB.com's prospect rankings, two of the Orioles top 10 prospects (Austin Hays and Yusniel Diaz) are outfielders. In total, five make up the top 30 prospects.
