The Orioles chose yet another college player up the middle in the third round of the draft, as they picked Mississippi shortstop Anthony Servideo 74th overall in the 2020 MLB Draft.
Servideo is rated the 110th overall prospect by MLB Pipeline. He bats left-handed, throws right-handed, and played all over the field at Ole Miss.
Servideo, 21, has a career slash of .294/.440/.427 and played all over the field at Ole Miss. He saw time at second base, shortstop, centerfield and right field in his career.

In 17 games this season, he posted a line of .390/.575/.695 and had 23 hits and 24 walks before the season was shut down due to coronavirus. A plus defender and solid runner on the basepaths, Servideo certainly flashes his glove more than his bat.
He was the fourth pick for the Orioles of the draft, and also the fourth college player the team has selected up the middle. Orioles general manager Mike Elias certainly has a type.
Add another college shortstop to this list. https://t.co/2h6BOgrBJm
