The second half of its opening game vs. Colorado State did not go well for Oregon State.

After trailing at the half 24-20, Oregon State ended up losing 58-27 to the Rams. And if you’re looking for a play that sums up the second half perfectly for the Beavers, we’ve got one for you.

Down by 17 in the fourth quarter, one of the Beavers’ play cards had Michael Jordan crying on it. The play Oregon State ran resulted in a fumble. We’re not making this up.

Oooooooof.

We were believers in a potential 6-6 season for Oregon State, but it’s hard to think that now. Week 1 snap judgments are useless, but the Beavers needed this game by virtue of playing in a loaded Pac-12 North.

If you’re looking for other snap judgments about Week 1, expect a lot of love for Colorado State as Mountain West champions and the possible Group of Five representative in the New Year’s Six bowl games.
