Oregon State's Gloire Amanda nominated for ESPY Award originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest

Oregon State soccer star Gloire Amanda has been absolutely incredible for the Beavers this season.

The junior forward recorded 37 points this season, an OSU record, and his 15 goals scored tied Alan Gordon for the second-most in a single season in OSU history.

Now the All-Pac-12 and All-Far West Region First Team honoree has a chance at something really special: Bringing home an ESPY.

Amanda has earned a nomination in the Best College Athlete, Men's Sport category. He joins Trevor Lawrence (Clemson Football), Devonta Smith (Alabama Football), and  Luka Garza (Iowa Basketball) as the four finalists.

Amanda earned United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men’s All-America First Team honors this past season and was also the winner of the MAC Hermann Trophy given to the best men's player in college soccer.  Amanda is currently sixth in Oregon State history for both career goals (25) and career points (61). You can see some of Amanda's best highlights in the video below.
