On Wednesday, redshirt-freshman JR Waters and Isaac Townsend have joined Daewood Davis, Jayvaun Wilson, MJ Cunningham, Cyrus Habibi-Likio and Cale Millen all in the transfer portal.
Here’s a look at their individual Oregon careers:
Waters was rated a four-star prospect coming out of high school and the consensus No. 9 ranked wide receiver in the state of California.
The 6’3”, 187-pound wide receiver chose Oregon over Arizona State, Michigan, Nebraska, Utah and Washington State among others.
After utilizing a redshirt season in 2019 due to an injury that required surgery, Waters moved from receiver to corner and saw time in two games last season during the Pac-12 and Oregon’s shortened seven-game season. He finished with one solo tackles against the Cal Golden Bears.
