Oregon men’s basketball Pac-12 schedule released originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest

The reigning Pac-12 champion Oregon Ducks are just under one month away from taking the hardwood against an opponent other than themselves.

While Pac-12 men’s basketball teams will begin play beginning on November 25, the few non-conference opponents are still being worked out amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday, the Pac-12 conference released the conference portion of the 2020-2021 schedule.

Here’s a look at who, when and where the Ducks will play:

A few quick takeaways:

  • Oregon will open up Pac-12 play on the road at Washington. This is the same day the Oregon Football team will host the Washington Huskies at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. Probably not the best scheduling idea on the Pac-12’s part.

  • Home court advantage in the first half of the season. The Ducks need to take advantage of home court, whatever that means should fans be allowed to attend games.

  • Oregon will play just one game (vs. Oregon State) in between two tough weekends: Hosting the Arizona schools and then on the road in Los Angeles.

  • The Ducks will not travel to Pullman, WA and USC does not come to Eugene, OR.

  • The 2020 Pac-12 Tournament is scheduled for March 10-13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Specific dates and times for each game within a week will be announced next month after selections by the league’s television partners are finalized. All 120 Conference games will be televised by either Pac-12 Network, ESPN/2/U, FOX/FS1 or CBS.
