Oregon lands in top-5 for WR Jurrion Dickey after becoming favorites for commitment
Just over a month ago, the Oregon Ducks were given a leg up on the competition when it came to predicting the eventual landing place for four-star athlete Jurrion Dickey, a native of Palo Alto, California.
According to the 247Sports crystal ball, Dickey was likely to pick the Ducks, whom the sixth-ranked athlete in the nation has visited several times. At the time, there was only one prediction for Dickey’s commitment, but on Tuesday afternoon, Oregon picked up a second prediction to land the blue-chip player.
In the 2023 class, Dickey is ranked as the No. 59 overall player. He is a jack of all trades in high school, but likely will play at the wide receiver position at the next level. Earlier this week, he released his top-5 recruiting destinations, keeping Oregon strongly in the mix.
