After wide receiver Jaylon Redd was unexpectedly absent from the 106th Rose Bowl for "personal reasons", word had been silent on his status since then.
On Monday afternoon, Coach Mario Cristobal gave an update on the status of the junior receiver during a press conference.
He was handling a personal matter, he has resumed classes and workouts with us and that's where it's at. -- Coach Cristobal
The Ducks head coach didn't elaborate on what the personal matter was but it's a good sign that Redd is back with the program and enrolled in classes.
The Carson, California-native had 50 receptions for 465 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while adding two rushing scores. His seven receiving touchdowns tied junior Johnny Johnson III for most on the team.
At the same press conference, four juniors announced they will return to Oregon for their senior season.
