Operation Consequences nets 44 felony arrests in the High Desert, Inland Empire
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials reported that multiple arrests were made throughout the High Desert and Inland Empire during the latest week of Operation Consequences.
Sheriff’s officials reported that between Nov. 12 and 18, investigators from the SBCSD’s Gangs/Narcotics Division and deputies from patrol stations served 19 search warrants.
The areas searched included Adelanto, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Oro Grande, Victorville, Highland, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, and San Bernardino.
During the one week, investigators seized 40 firearms, 12 unserialized or ghost guns, recovered illegal narcotics, and made 44 felony arrests.

Deputies on Oct. 1 kicked off Operation Consequences, focusing on conducting targeted crime suppression operations in the High Desert and the sheriff’s jurisdiction surrounding the city of San Bernardino.
Operation Consequences will take place over the next several months to curb violent crime and disrupt and dismantle targeted criminal street gangs.
The SBC Board of Supervisors authorized funds to assist with county-wide crime suppression. The intent is to provide additional funding to the Sheriff’s Department, allowing for increased law enforcement services related to quality-of-life issues affecting the communities in our county.
