Ontario County Public Health: 105 COVID-19 cases Monday
HOPEWELL -- Ontario County Public Health is reporting 105 COVID-19 cases as of Monday, Jan. 17, including 24 involving children.
Health officials also reported 125 positive home tests for a total of 2,044. Because home tests cannot be verified, they are not included in the confirmed positive test data, health officials said. Confirmed cases are from lab specimens.
Fifty-three people are in the hospital. There were 448 negative lab reports.
Since the start of the pandemic, 17,458 COVID-19 cases have been reported; 163 people have died.
