Steven Caulker "can only see three points" for his former side when they face London rivals Chelsea on Monday night.

Ange Postecoglou and his team know a win against ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino's Blues at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would reinstate their two-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

"It was really nice to meet him," Caulker told BBC World Service’s Sportsworld after spending time recently with the Australian manager.

"He’s got such a presence about him. When you meet certain people you can really feel that. He has that lovely charisma. Serious guy - nice guy, but serious. No nonsense. You can feel that when he’s in the room."

Pochettino returns to the club he took to the 2019 Champions League final with his current side in need of a win after last weekend's disappointing home defeat to Brentford.

However, Caulker believes his former side will be too good for Chelsea.

"I think momentum is with Tottenham right now and they’ve got a really, really good side," he added.

"I think the difficultly may come later on in the season in terms of squad depth and potential injuries. From where I’m sitting now, I can only see three points for Tottenham and they will maintain their gap at the top."
