On3’s Chad Simmons like Ohio State’s chances with elite instate 2024 prospect

The rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan is well documented, it’s not just on the field either, it’s on the recruiting trail.

Typically, it’s not the Buckeyes heading North for a prospect, it’s almost always the other way around, and 2024 Ohio cornerback Aaron Scott Jr. is a primary target for both schools.

Ohio State wants to keep the best prospects from leaving the state every year and Scott Jr. is one of those. The 6-foot, 170-pound corner is not only one of the best prospects in the state but in the country as well. It’s a heated recruiting battle between the two rivals and today the Buckeye got some encouraging news.

On3’s Chad Simmons believes Ohio State is in the lead and made a prediction for Scott Jr. to stay home and play for the Buckeyes.

Simmons’ confidence level is at 60% which in recruiting is fairly high. Although Scott Jr. has yet to announce when he will make his commitment, at the current moment, it looks like Ohio State is in prime position to land the talented defender.
