Ah, how time flies! There's nothing like our favorite TV shows to put is in a nostalgic mood. When it comes to 1990s sitcoms, shows like Full House, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Seinfeld, and Friends come to mind, and Home Improvement has a spot among those favorites too. The show that gave Tim Allen his start was a mainstay of 1990s TV, with more than 200 episodes airing between 1991 and 1999. Allen starred alongside his on-screen wife, Patricia Richardson, who earned four Emmy nominations for her portrayal of Jill Taylor

So when Patricia recently shared a throwback photo from the show with her fans on Instagram, 80s and 90s babies everywhere were thrilled. She captioned the picture of her character Jill Taylor cozied up next to Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor, "…turns out that a fictional marriage can be great."

The post immediately took fans back to the 1990s. They left comments like, "My favorite TV marriage!! ❤️❤️" and "OMG!!! 😭💕😭 the BEST TV COUPLE of all time!!! Totally swoon worthy!!!!! 🙌🏼💕💕💕💕💕." Another wrote, "My top 5 fave shows!!! Brings back such great feelings and memories ❤"

This photo left us wondering what Patricia is up to these days. After Home Improvement wrapped in 1999, Patricia starred on Strong Medicine and The West Wing and has had appearances on Blacklist, NCIS, and Last Man Standing. She also stars alongside Denim Richards (Colby from Yellowstone) in the County Line movies (County Line: No Fear will be out later this year). She'll also appear in Chantilly Bridge, the sequel to the 1993 movie Chantilly Lace.

As for Tim, he's reuniting with Home Improvement costar Richard Karn (Al Borland) for the new History Channel show More Power, where they'll put all kinds of tools to the test. The new series premieres on June 29. He's also back in Santa shape to film a Disney+ reboot of The Santa Clause.

If you're ready for a Home Improvement rewatch, we have some unfortunate news. The series has not been on any streaming platform since it left Hulu in 2020. Individual episodes are available to rent on Amazon.
