No man has ever repeated as the Olympic downhill champion, but Austria’s Matthias Mayer will get his chance when the rescheduled event goes off on Thursday.

He might be a bit sore, though. Mayer bit it during the slalom portion of Tuesday’s alpine combined downhill, taking out a couple of media members as he barreled down the hill.

Watch it here:

Mayer’s countryman Marcel Hirscher took the gold in Tuesday’s event and will be a big favorite in the slalom and giant slalom. If Mayer can recover from his spill to successfully defend his title in the downhill, it could be another special Olympiad for the Austrians.
