Ole Miss wide receiver, Bentonville West grad, in transfer portal

Arkansas offered wide receiver Jadon Jackson a scholarship when the Bentonville West product was playing for the Wolverines in the Class of 2019.

Now another Razorbacks regime may have a chance to land him.

Jackson, who spent his first three years at Ole Miss, entered the transfer portal on Tuesday. He would have two years of eligibility remaining once he decides on a destination. It’s unclear whether where his preferred landing spot might be.

It could be Fayetteville. Chad Morris offered a scholarship to Jackson, a three-star during his days playing in Arkansas preps, when he coached the Razorbacks. Jackson was ranked the No. 6 player in the state in 2019. Only former Arkansas wideout Treylon Burks was ranked higher at the position in the Natural State.

Jackson caught 15 passes, five each year, in his three seasons with the Rebels. If he chose Arkansas – or Arkansas chose him – he would be the second wide receiver the Razorbacks nabbed from the portal, following Oklahoma transfer Jadon Haselwood, who committed in early December.
