Ole Miss jumps out to big lead early but can't keep pace late with No. 14 Alabama

Feb. 28—OXFORD — Ole Miss led by as many as 14 points against No. 14 Alabama Wednesday night but was ultimately unable to keep up with the nation's top scoring offense, as the Crimson Tide defeated the Rebels 103-88 at SJB Pavilion. It's the third loss in a row for the Rebels, who have lost six of their last seven games overall.

Ole Miss (19-9, 6-9) held Alabama to just 6 of 20 from 3-point range in the first half, but the Crimson Tide (20-8, 12-3) hit 9 of 17 from deep in the second and shot nearly 62% from the field overall in the final 20 minutes.
