Ole Miss football, Lane Kiffin land commitment from ex-UCF defensive back Justin Hodges

Ole Miss football's cornerback room landed its second transfer addition of the night Thursday, when former UCF defensive back Justin Hodges committed to play for the Rebels.

Hodges was dismissed from the UCF program in January after he was arrested on charges of home invasion and robbery with a firearm and a mask. According to Orange County court documents, the state of Florida decided not to move forward in its case against Hodges on May 8.

Hodges has appeared in 29 games for the Knights over the course of his career, picking up 78 tackles, 16 pass break ups and two interceptions. He joins Tulane transfer Jadon Canady, who committed to play for the Rebels earlier Thursday evening.

Listed at 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, Hodges is originally from Fort Lauderdale. The former three-star recruit will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
