OKC Thunder recalls Jaylin Williams from G League’s Blue
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Thursday that they have recalled rookie forward Jaylin Williams from the G League’s OKC Blue.
With the Thunder going on an extensive five-game road trip, it looks like they recalled Williams to have him available during the stay away from home.
In five games with the Thunder, Williams has averaged 2.8 points and two rebounds. In eight games with the Blue, Williams has averaged 13.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and six assists.
The Thunder selected Williams with the 34th overall pick of the second round in the 2022 NBA draft out of Arkansas. The 20-year-old has played sporadically for the Thunder so far this season.
