OKC Thunder news: Ousmane Dieng recalled from G League’s Blue, available to play

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Sunday that Ousmane Dieng was recalled from the G League’s OKC Blue.

This makes Dieng available to play against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, marking his potential NBA return from a wrist fracture since he last played on Dec. 5.

Dieng suffered a wrist fracture on Dec. 15.

Dieng was assigned to the Blue and played in one G League game on Saturday, where he finished with 20 points and nine rebounds.

The Thunder drafted Dieng 11th overall in the first round of the 2022 NBA draft. In 14 games with the Thunder, the 19-year-old is averaging 4.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
