Ohio State provides player availability, injury status report for Maryland game

Every week week we are supplied a status list prior to game-time and the Ohio State Buckeyes have a number of intriguing players out for the contest against the Maryland Terrapins. With Ohio State favored by more than three touchdowns, my gut instinct tells me that anyone listed as a game-time decision or questionable is likely not going to see the field.

The most upsetting name upon first glance is defensive end, Tyreke Smith listed as a game-time decision, which is extremely unfortunate as Smith was listed as the pre-season starter opposite Zach Harrison, but has struggled to find his footing and is losing ground to the two explosive freshman. Miyan Williams is another name to monitor as we attempt to find out if he is injured or in the disciplinary dog house.
