Ohio State legend named head coach in MLFB

With the United States Football League 2.0 coming to a close this weekend in Canton, Ohio, the thirst and hunger for football will come back stronger than ever. And even though I love the Canadian Football League, the addition of another new league with a team in Ohio is exciting.

Major League Football has been in the works since 2014 and they have been teasing us for almost a decade, to the point, where I thought it would never happen. However, the new league will officially kick off on August 6th. The league will consist of four teams and one of those teams is the Ohio Force.

The Ohio Force recently announced their head coach would be former Ohio State football player and coach, Bill Conley. Conley played football under Woody Hayes from 1968-1971 and began his coaching career in 1984 until 2004 when he spent time on staff with Earle Bruce, John Cooper, and Jim Tressel.

Conley earned the opportunity to lead his own program in 2010 when he was hired as the head coach at Division II program, Ohio Dominican. There he guided the Panthers to the playoffs twice, before departing after the 2015 season.

We wish Conley and the Force good luck!
