Marcus Hooker, a freshman defensive back for Ohio State, was charged with driving under the influence.

Hooker was arrested June 16 in Neshannock Township, Pa., just outside of his hometown of New Castle. According to the New Castle News, Hooker, 18, was also charged with disregarding traffic lane, careless driving, no rear lights and purchase of alcoholic beverage by a minor.

Court records show that Hooker was found to have a blood alcohol content between .10 and .16. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 5.

Hooker is the younger brother of former OSU standout and current Indianapolis Colts safety Malik Hooker. Malik Hooker was picked by the Colts in the first round of the 2017 draft.

Marcus Hooker was a three-star recruit in the 2018 class. He committed to the Buckeyes last July less than 24 hours after receiving an offer from the coaching staff. He enrolled at the school earlier this month.
