OG Anunoby to return to Knicks lineup Tuesday vs. 76ers

The Knicks are getting reinforcements for the stretch run as OG Anunoby will return to the lineup Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers, per SNY's Ian Begley.

Anunoby has been out of the lineup since Jan. 27 due to an elbow injury that required surgery.

The 26-year-old Anunoby is averaging 15.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 34 minutes a game this season.

Prior to his absence, the Knicks were 14-2 with Anunoby in the lineup in January but have played to a sub-.500 record since.

The Knicks currently sit at 37-27 and just 0.5 games ahead of the Orlando Magic for the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. New York is coming off a brutal 79-73 loss to the 76ers on Sunday and with just 18 games remaining in the regular season, the Knicks hope to stay out of the Play-In Tournament.
