The new NWCA poll is out. Where does Penn State wrestling rank after pair of road wins?
Penn State maintained its grip on the top spot in the NWCA Coaches Poll.
The Nittany Lions were No. 1 in the rankings released Tuesday after picking up a pair of conference road wins this week. Penn State defeated No. 4 Ohio State 29-9 on Friday and took care of No. 22 Indiana 35-8 on Sunday.
The Big Ten dominated the top 25 with 12 teams. The other ranked conference members were No. 2 Iowa, No. 9 Michigan, No. 10 Nebraska, No. 12 Minnesota, No. 13 Northwestern, No. 18 Wisconsin, No. 20 Illinois, No. 23 Rutgers and No. 24 Michigan State.
Penn State has nine wrestlers in this week’s individual InterMat rankings.
