Numerous top recruits visiting Georgia football program in June

Recruiting visits are back for college football! For the first time since March 2020, the NCAA’s recruiting dead period is lifted.

The Georgia Bulldogs and Kirby Smart hold the top-ranked recruiting class for the class of 2022 and 2023. There is still a long way to go, but the Dawgs have a promising amount of talent lined up to visit in June.

College football recruiting is feeling more normal. It will be a crazy month of June. Numerous prospects have committed to schools without visiting the schools in person. June is expected to be one of the busiest college football recruiting months ever.

Who are some of the top prospects set to visit the University of Georgia in June?

Defensive lineman Justin Benton

Georgia Bulldogs recruiting target Justin Benton is planning to come to Athens on June 10. The IMG Academy defensive lineman is rated a four-star prospect. He is favored to attend the University of Georgia. Benton is a rising junior. https://twitter.com/JustinB42023/status/1398279312831389696?s=20

Offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner

Oxford High School offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner plans to visit several schools in June. The unranked offensive line prospect out of Oxford, Alabama, will be at the University of Georgia on June 8.

Wide receiver Leon Haughton Jr.

Three-star wide receiver recruit Leon Haughton Jr. plans to be in Athens on June 8. Haughton Jr. plays football for Benedictine in Richmond, Virginia. Defensive lineman Zavion Hardy

The Georgia Bulldogs offered a scholarship to outside linebacker recruit Zavion Hardy in February. Hardy plays football and basketball for Tattnall Square Academy in Macon, Georgia. The 6-foot-5, 257-pound defensive lineman is rated a four-star prospect. He also plays tight end and will visit Athens on June 2.

Wide receiver Debron Gatling

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to wide receiver Debron Gatling, who plays football for Milton High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. Gatling is a member of the class of 2024. He will be at UGA on June 2.

Defensive end Lebbeus Overton

Debron Gatling's teammate at Milton, Lebbeus Overton, plans to visit Athens on the same day as his teammate (June 2). Overton is taking an unofficial visit. Overton is a rare recruit. He is the top-ranked defensive end in the class of 2023 and the No. 1 overall prospect. Overton is extremely athletic. The five-star defensive end also plays basketball. Running back Justice Haynes

The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart offered a scholarship to running back Justice Haynes in October 2020. Haynes is a four-star running back who is a member of the class of 2023. Haynes, the son of former Georgia Bulldog running back Verron Haynes, plays high school football for Blessed Trinity Catholic in Roswell, Georgia. Three-star offensive line prospect Drew Bobo plans to visit Athens on June 1. Bobo is the son of former Georgia quarterback and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. Four-star defensive end Derrick LeBlanc is headed to the University of Georgia on June 1. LeBlanc is a member of the class of 2023. He plays football for Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida.

Wide receiver Santana Fleming

The Georgia Bulldogs offered a scholarship to class of 2023 wide receiver recruit Santana Fleming in March. Now, Fleming has locked in a visit for June 5. Fleming is a rising junior at American Heritage in Plantation, Florida. American Heritage is home to several Georgia Bulldog greats, including Sony Michel.

Defensive end Enai White

Georgia football is heavily recruiting defensive end Enai White. White is a four-star defensive end prospect. He is set to take an official visit to the University of Georgia for June 11-13. Georgia has already secured a commitment from Tyre West, who will be at UGA on June 1. The Tift County defensive lineman is a four-star prospect.

Tight end Pearce Spurlin
