When the Wizards took the court Wednesday afternoon for the team's first live-action in the Orlando bubble, Washington immediately found itself undersized.

That's because the Wizards' scrimmage opponent, the Denver Nuggets, came out with one of the tallest starting lineups in NBA history.

With only eight healthy bodies, Denver had to be creative with its starting five. Three players -- Nikola Jokic, Bol Bol and Mason Plumlee -- were 6-foot-11 or taller, with Jokic and Bol both north of seven feet. Forwards Paul Millsap (6-foot-7) and Jerami Grant (6-foot-8) rounded out the unit.

The average height of Denver's starting five on Wednesday was the tallest in NBA history. According to Basketball Network, the 2019 Milwaukee Bucks starting lineup of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Nikola Mirotic, Ersan Ilyasova and Brook Lopez was the previous tallest in league history.

That Bucks' five had an average height of 82.2 inches, which is 6-foot-10.2. The Nuggets lineup on Wednesday had an average height slightly taller: 82.4 inches, or 6-foot-10.4.

The Nuggets were without their typical starting backcourt on Wednesday, as neither Jamal Murray and Gary Harris were able to suit up. So, to compensate, the Nuggets started Jokic -- who made the All-NBA team a season ago as a center -- at point guard.

Bol, a second-round draft pick of Denver in 2019 who has yet to make his NBA debut, shined early for the Nuggets.

Washington used a much more typical starting lineup height-wise, as only center Thomas Bryant (6-foot-10) is taller than 6-foot-8.

While Denver likely won't use this starting five when Murray and Harris return, it was quite interesting to see them experiment with it on Wednesday versus Washington.
