Nuggets survive wild Game 4 to even series vs. Blazers
It wasn’t a four-overtime game, but the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers could still probably use a breather after that one.
Behind 34 points from Jamal Murray and a triple-double from Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets notched a 116-112 Game 4 win to even the series at 2-2. In front of a hostile crowd, the Nuggets erased a six-point halftime deficit with an 11-1 run in the third quarter, then held on for dear life in a contentious fourth quarter.
The game ultimately came down to Murray’s free-throw shooting, as the Blazers narrowed the deficit to the low single digits. Murray finished 11-of-11 from the line, six of them in the game’s final 20 seconds.

The victory appeared to come at a cost when Jokic was seen limping in the game’s final minutes, but Nuggets coach Michael Malone said after the game that Jokic merely took a knee to the leg and appeared to be fine.
The series now heads back to Denver, and one of the most fun series of this year’s playoffs comes closer to a conclusion.
