Notre Dame adds a dynamic wide receiver to 2023 recruiting class

The Irish had been looking for another offensive playmaker and found their man this afternoon. Texas wide receiver Jaden Greathouse verbally committed to Notre Dame and thus adding to their ever growing impressive 2023 recruiting class.

The six-foot-two-inch and 215-pound receiver chose the Irish over Oklahoma, Michigan, Oregon, Baylor, Texas, USC and others. Greathouse now becomes the highest ranked offensive prospect the Irish have committed, overtaking fellow Texan and soon to be position mate Braylon James. Greathouse is the third commitment at his position, joining James and Californian Rico Flores. He also becomes the 20th commitment of the class that looks to be almost complete before the season gets started.

Greathouse had been leaning towards committing to Notre Dame for quite some time and that finally came true today. Since there are only a few more spots remaining in the class, Marcus Freeman now has the ability to become extremely picky as to who else will be added. It’s a great position to be in.
