Xavier's men's basketball team looks like it will be in a tough spot tonight against Virginia Tech in the NIT Season Tip-Off at the Barclays Center.

The Musketeers will likely be without starters Colby Jones and Dieonte Miles, and Jerome Hunter and Adam Kunkel are game-time decisions.

All four are dealing with a non-COVID illness, according to a source.

Xavier Musketeers guard Colby Jones (3) reaches for a steal as Niagara Purple Eagles guard Marcus Hammond (10) maintains possession in the first half of an NCAA college basketball game, Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, at Cintas Center in Cincinnati.

Xavier's still down Zach Freemantle as well, so the Musketeers could be looking at a rotation of Paul Scruggs, Nate Johnson, Dwon Odom, Jack Nunge, Ben Stanley, KyKy Tandy and freshman Cesare Edwards if Jones, Miles, Hunter and Kunkel are unable to go.
