It’s the first SEC series of the season for the Diamond Hogs, and they will take on the Auburn Tigers.

The Tigers enter Baum-Walker Stadium with a record of 13-3-1. The tie came from 12-12 stalemate in the final game of their weekend series against USC.

Arkansas has the series advantage, 51-49 all-time. Manager Dave Van Horn currently has a 36-23 record against Auburn, 17 of those coming at Baum-Walker Stadium.

If you look at the latest SEC Power Rankings, then you’ll know how spread out the SEC is so far this season. Opening weekend for conference play should definitley set the tone for the conference, as far determining who are the real contenders to win the conference.

The Diamond Hogs need a good opener for the SEC season, cause it only gets tougher from here.
